Create a WAmmy nomination page.
The WAmmy Awards currently has no page where members can easily nominate people for the 22 annual awards that are currently given out each year. Create a special WAmmy nomination page that is easy to access and well advertised throughout the year.

Confirmation of DELETE
Any chance we can have a confirmation for the delete button? Especially important for us that use iPhones/iPad's. It is easy to accidently delete a post on the message boards and they cannot be restored. You have to copy and paste from the 'back office copy' which is clearly not the same. Thanks

add a Hardy Boyz wrestlers category
I believe we need a new category to accomodate the Hardy Boyz wrestling team because they currently are ending up in the Hardy Boys books category.

There should be a top-page list, as in "New Answers," that allows Supervisors to view all users.
It would be endlessly helpful in keeping tabs of both vandals and candidates for nomination if there were a function allowing one to view all users (similar to "Who's Who in the Supervisor Community") from the home page.

Find a way to tell users not to answer their own questions with additional details.
I find questions that have been answered by the asker with additional details way too often (for example: Question- What type of mutation causes diabetes? Answer- What mutation causes diabetes type 1?). There should be a warning when an IP address or user answers its own question: "Warning: If you put anything, including additional details, in the answer space, people are going to assume that the question has already been answered. Please keep this under consideration."

Can we have a ding when we get a new message on our message boards?
Whenever someone messages me on WikiAnswers, I often don't know til like later cuz I have so many tabs open, if we where to have a "ding" everytime a new message comes onto our message boards, that would be nice.

Make asking questions easier for guests
It is all about conveniences for those that aren't very familiar with the way to ask questions that will motivate them to use us again.
We need a "Ask a question!" orange button somewhere in the header that makes it extremely simpler for them to do it, and they type their question in a popup box and click "Ask" and it suggests a merge if needed, just so they can skip the stuff that seems to be throwing users off more and more these days.

The super-super power to block entire domains should require at least two people to approve
Apparently super-super users have the ability to block entire domains and the domain www.google.com keeps getting blocked leaving supervisors no longer able to add related links on google.com web sites including support and documentation for products like google earth, google maps, google docs, etc.
The domain block feature is clearly too powerful for any single person. This feature should probably require at least two people to approve such an action. One person recommends a domain to be blocked requiring another person to approve the request so these repeat accidents don't happen again and again.

Restore New Questions category. Serious mistake doing away with it. I cannot now browse all new Q's independent of categories.
Restore New Questions. It has become my favorite starting place. Serious mistake to eliminate it, especially if we have an interest in increasing our answered questions rate. This will NOT help us toward that goal. New Questions also helps us be alert to the more notorious vandals who will sometimes switch categories.

When a user asks a question , he should be informed when the question is answered as is done by yahoo answers
Yahoo answers informs concerned person about answer of asked question, which may be important for a user .

Install a feature that will not allow the user being warned to delete the warning message
Install a feature that will not allow the user being warned to delete the warning message. To make this less intimidating for the contributor, only Supervisors and the user involved can see the warning. This will make it easier for Supervisors to see what the warning was given for so they can decide whether it is a first or second offence.

Do automatic merge instead of asking "Already exists. Do you want to merge"
Maybe the question is useful in ways I'm not aware of, but when two items are indeed identical, wouldn't a merge virtually always be appropriate? Why not have the sustem just do it?

Allow more punctuation markings in math questions.
This would be a big help in asking and understanding math questions. For example, how could someone ask "What is the integral of cos(e^2x)?" or "What is (x + 3)(5x + 7)?" with the punctuation currently allowed?

Program DingoBot to not auto-flag "Homo" in the Taxonomy and Evolution categories.
DingoBot automatically flags every post that contains "Homo," regardless of scenario, so that all questions describing human and hominid phylogeny/taxonomy/evolution are flagged as offensive. True, this is only a minor inconvenience, but it becomes tedious, unflagging every answer that includes information about a certain genus.

When merging questions, create a drop-down to give suggestions for similar questions
When merging a question, the universal inspiration of grinding teeth and war cries is that a single misplaced character can cause merging a question to fail. There should be a drop-down suggestion list, as when searching for categories, listing closest related questions (by characters, or by topic, which would probably require a new bot). This allows a Contributor or Supervisor to see what questions are available for merging, alleviating the stress of typing alternates word-for-word.

Grant Senior Supervisors a new tool that belongs to Advanced Supers
I think that Senior Supervisors should be entrusted with the Profile page edit tool. As a regular supervisor at one point, I hated coming across a page that their bio was so spammed it broke the code on the page. Or the times of personal information being posted.

Protecting a question and protecting its discussion page should be indepenent.
I like and use the discussion pages. Sometimes useful discussion can continue even if the answer is in its final form. I'm thinking of 'How many states are there?' Many people really believe there are more than 50, but discussion of the territories, commonwealths and possessions would be useful.

Filter on the Supervisors' Contributions page for messages and warnings
In the filter choices add one for warnings and one for messages. It would make it much easier to go back and monitor those users.

Add a "Last Updated" feature at the bottom of a question's answer.
Some questions require updating every few months or years, it would be a lot easier if a feature would be added at the bottom of each question's page telling us when the answer was last updated. I'm aware that you can easily figure it out by looking at the history, but this feature would make figuring it out hassle-free.
